Yoko was born in Hyogo prefecture, Japan, lived in British Colombia, Canada, for three years, and presently lives in Tokyo's Minato ward.
Yoko received her Diploma in Business Administration General Management in BC, Canada. Using her strong skills in management, communication, coaching, and creativity, she worked as secretary, assistant manager, and manager for several years in Canada and Japan. Eventually, her personal and spiritual growth gained through Expressive Art Therapy and meditation practiced led her to the world of Psychology and counseling.
Yoko graduated Summa cum laude from Temple University with a B.A. in Psychological Studies. She was a President's Scholar, receiving a number of Academic Awards for her research projects focused on social issues and psychology.
